We Need Equal Pay Data
The petition to the EEOC reads:
We urge you to stand up for equal pay and stand against discrimination by ensuring the EEOC collects pay data by race, gender and job category. We’re counting on the EEOC to make sure we don’t allow gender and race wage gaps to continue to shortchange women and their families.

An effort that would require big companies to reveal salary data by gender and race to the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) was blocked by the Trump administration.
This is about keeping employers accountable to working people. We cannot allow setbacks in the fight for equal pay to go unchallenged. Now, it’s up to working people to take action that can help end pay discrimination.
