On 14 April 2020, the Party of Labour of Austria launches the website of its official newspaper under the domain "zeitungderarbeit.at". At the same time, the party's newspaper - also the printed edition that will continue to be published regularly - will be renamed from "Arbeiter/innen-Zeitung" (AZ) to "Zeitung der Arbeit" (ZdA). ZdA-online is intended to be an additional, comprehensive and daily updated information offer of the party, which supplements the printed periodical newspaper, the party'swebsite and social media activities.

"Our new online newspaper is a tool of enlightening the working class", explains Tibor Zenker, chairman of the Party of Labour. "It will be a weaponin class struggle, it will take on tasks of agitation, propaganda, mobilisation and organisation. It will represent a proletarianviewpoint, offer Marxist-Leninist analyses and speak the truth whenever bourgeois state and corporate media stay silent or lie. ZdA-online will be a medium of revolutionary action and will take sides - for the class, with the class."

Mit 14. April 2020 startet die Partei der Arbeit Österreichs (PdA) die Internetseite ihres Zentralorgans unter der Domain „zeitungderarbeit.at“. Gleichzeitig wird die Zeitung der PdA – nämlich auch die weiterhin regelmäßig erscheinende Printausgabe – umbenannt von „Arbeiter/innen-Zeitung“ (AZ) in „Zeitung der Arbeit“ (ZdA).Die ZdA-Online soll ein zusätzliches, umfassendes und tagesaktuelles Informationsangebot der Partei sein, das die periodische Printzeitung, die PdA-Homepage sowie Social Media-Aktivitäten ergänzt.

„Unsere neue Online-Zeitung ist ein Mittel zur Aufklärung der Arbeiterklasse“, erklärt Tibor Zenker, Vorsitzender der PdA. „Sie wird eineWaffe im Klassenkampf sein, sie wird agitatorische, propagandistische, mobilisierende und organisierende Aufgaben übernehmen. Sie wird einen Klassenstandpunkt vertreten, marxistisch-leninistische Analysen anbieten und die Wahrheit aussprechen, wo bürgerliche Staats- und Konzernmedien schweigen oder lügen. Die ZdA-Online wird ein Medium der revolutionären Tat sein und Partei ergreifen – für die Klasse, mit der Klasse.“
